BETTY SHAW BEST JUVENILE Wins Four Times in Four Starts at atRiyerside Riyerside Park Good in inAny Any Footing KANSAS CITY Mo June 18 Betty Shaw clearly demonstrated that she is the best juvenile quartered at Riverside Park Start ¬ ing four times at the meeting she was vic ¬ torious on all occasions and showed that she can run as well in the mud and heavy going as on a fast track Making her debut here on May 20 she ran four and onehalf furlongs over a slow track in 59 winning easily from Nedrow Sergeant Lee and Prin ¬ cess Juan Her next start was May 30 and over a good track she won by eight lengths from Calculus Item and Gold Ti traveling the four and onehalf furlongs route in 55 55Her Her next race was on June 8 and she de ¬ feated such good twoyearolds as Grey Man Walter Morton and Gold Ti running five furlongs in 101 over a fast track and winning unextended by eight lengths Her best race was Tuesday and she won easily from a small but good field over a heavy track in the good time of 103 for five fur ¬ longs In this race was Willow Wood a re ¬ cent arrival from Omaha where he was con ¬ sidered the champion twoyearold of that meeting
