Budding Star was scratched Tuesday because of a slight infection in her right front leg. While it is not serious, trainer Roy Selden did not want to take any chances with his charge. The scratch caused the sixth race to be declared off and the substitute used. Jockey Wayne Wright, who was to have arrived by plane from Florida yesterday morning, was grounded at Jacksonville because of storms.
