LITTLE WICHITA, away fast, swerved to the inside when reaching the lead, drew away steadily and won easily. OFF SIDE, never far back, moved up rapidly after a quarter, saved ground entering the stretch and outfinished HEARTY. The latter, forced to lose ground early, responded fast in the stretch and finished strongly. EVILO, first in motion and eased when LITTLE WICHITA bore over, tired in the last eighth. WENT TO POST 2:491. AT POST 3 minutes. Start good and slow. Won driving; second and third the same. TRANSPORT, away slowly and outrun for three eighths, was sent to the outside entering the stretch, responded fast in the last eighth and won drawing away. CHIEFS PRIDE, away slowly and far back early, moved up fast after reaching the stretch, wore NIGHT BR1GADF. down in the last sixteenth, but failed to withstand the winner. NIGHT BRIGADE took command under hustling tactics, increased his advantage after reachine the stretch but tired rapidly in the last stages. SNORKY, well up and in close quarters from the start, was shuffled back in the drive. THE POINT raced wide. AS ALWAYS raced evenly. LO and RIDGE WISE quit. Scratched 23420 Lumillion, 104. MOISSON, away slowly and forced to lose ground when improving his position, closed with a rush. BALD CREST, under a hard drive from the start, drew clear nearing the final three-eighths but tired in the last eighth. OUR DAVID tired. KIEVA was in close quarters. HUEU made up ground. POKEAWAY took command immediately, sprinted into a good lead early, gave way nearing the finai quarter, established a good lead after again taking command, but tired in the last stages. BOY VALET, outrun for five-eighths, was sent through the field for the drive and closed with a rush. ORTHOPRISM made up ground. LAD1NO was outrun. KOTERITO quit.
