LEO J. MARKS INSPECTS HORSES LEXINGTON, Ky., April 9. Leo J. Marks, motoring home to Columbus, Ohio, from Miami, Fla., where he spent much of the winter with his mother and sister, stopped here yesterday afternoon and today for an inspection of his horses at Le Mar Stock Farm and for a conference with trainer Harry S. Hart. The Marks string now in training at the farm numbers twenty-seven. Today it was announced that it has been decided to campaign this year in New England. The plan is to ship to Suffolk Downs about May 15 and to send a division of the string from there to Rockingham Park. After the New England tracks close, plans are indefinite, but it is likely that horses will be sent to Texas and perhaps to Florida next winter. Marks will proceed to Columbus tomorrow.
