FINAL WORKS FOR FEATURES Taylor Purse and Frontier Exposition Handicap Eligibles in Trial Gallops at Arlington Downs. ARLINGTON, Texas, April 9. Three eligibles for the Taylor Purse, which is expected to bring together leading eligibles for the Texas Derby, as the sub-feature for Sat urdays program, had their final preparations for the mile and seventy yards journey over the fast inside track at Arlington Downs this morning. Milky Way Farms Sangreal turned in the fastest trial when he went a mile in 1:41, driving. Sir Gawaine joined in with him for the final half mile. Displaying an abundance of early speed, Sangreal reeled off the quarter in :23, the half mile in :47, and the three-quarters in 1:13. However, he tired considerably during the final quarter, and he was under a good drive, while Sir Gawaine breezed the final half mile in :54. Holl Image, winner of the Arkansas Derby for William Schmidt, was timed three-quarters in 1:1573, and Miss Diavolo, a non-Derby eligible, but expected to be under colors in the Taylor Purse, ran a mile in 1:42. She was breezing throughout, and she ran the quarter in :24, the half mile in :48, and the three-quarters in 1:131s. Holl Images fractions were :25 and :49t3. Ariel Cross, the only Frontier Exposition Handicap eligible to have a work-day, breezed an easy three-quarters in 1:20. He was timed the quarter in :26, and the half mile in :53. I
