PICKET WHITE HOUSE WASHINGTON, D. C, April 9. A group of some 800 unemployed WPA workers and relief clients picketed the White House continuously Wednesday in an effort to impress upon the President and members of Congress the necessity of continuing and expanding the WPA program and of further relief to the unemployed. Delegates to the convention of the Workers Alliance of America, which is in session here, comprised the group.
