* NO REFUNDS ON BOLD FLIRT BALTIMORE, Md., April 30.— Dr. Henry J. McCarthy, who examined E. R. Bradleys Bold Flirt after she struck the fence while en route to the starting point in the sixth race, stated that the filly suffered a torn coronet which bled profusely and which necessitated her being withdrawn from the contest. Owing to the filly being on the track at the time of the accident, no refunds were made for those who speculated on the Bradley miss, who showed 7.75 in the "tote. A written statement by Dr. McCarthy was given officials of the Maryland Jockey Club.
