FEVER FATAL TO CAN TAKIT LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 6.-The first fatality at Churchill Downs this year occurred today when Mrs. E. B. Carpenters Can Takit succumbed to an attack of shipping fever, contracted en route here from Arlington Downs. He was a three-year-old Sun Edwin—Pop Gun gelding.
