FLAVOR, away slowly but well handled though forced to lose ground, bettered her position gradually and, after overtaking SOUTHERN BELLE in the" last sixteenth, drew out fast, but had little left. The latter, steadied along for three eighths, raced into command eraduallv and held on well though she failed to hold the winner. SKY PIRATE, a strong factor from the start, stood a long drive gamely, but just lasted to be third. ERLA closed with a rush in a splendid effort. OTTOMAN tired in the final drive. BILLIONAIRE, rent to the front with a rush on the outside, saved ground in the final three -eighths, withstood HY SONNYS bid without need of strong pressure, and came away fast in the final eighth. The latter raced to a contending position with a ru«h and alco on the outside, tired after nearing the leader, but held second secure. JOSH went evenly and. holding on well, overtook ROME HAUL in the closing strides. The latter had speed from the start, but weakened badly. THE TRIBESMAN -finished well. CHENAULT began fast, hut was blocked before reaching the turn and, failing to improve his speed when clear, did not threaten. PALAN had no mishap:. CORUM, slow to get into full stride, worked his way up steadily in the last half mile* but was no match for the winner, although easily the best of the others. DEEP RUN, on the outside frorn the beginning, rallied at the final turn, but tired in the stretch drive. RONFALLON passed tiring horses when bettering his position. TRUMPS tired badlv after making his run in the last five sixteenths. ME MYSELF was outrun. WESTERN RUN quit, as did AT DUSK. Overweight — At Dusk, lj pounds.
