HAVRE DE GRACE STATISTICS Foxcatcher Farms Stable Takes Top Honors at Maryland Course. g Peters Straddles Fifteen Winners During Fourteen-Day Meeting — Gold Seeker Leads Horses With ,425. — — ♦— — The spring meeting of the Harford Agricultural Association came to a close April 28 after fourteen days of good racing. The i success of Gold Seeker in the Chesapeake Stakes earned first position for both her-j self and owner. Heading the program of stakes, the Chesapeake netted ,425. Black Gift succeeded in getting down in front for the ,625 of the Philadelphia Handicap and was the only winner to sport the silks of L. Carter. There was not much of a contest among the jockeys, M. Peters running away with all honors, having the leg up on fifteen winners. Second place went to C. Stafford, who piloted ten winners. Training honors went to J. H. Stotler who saddled five successful entries. Bedwell, Jones, Neusteter and Potts each sent four. Ninety-eight races were contested during the two weeks with twenty-three favorites vindicating the choice of their backers. Total distribution amounted to 17,150, an average of ,367.86 per day.
