Kastner was suspended for the remainder of the Jamaica meeting and ten additional racing days by order of the stewards for careless riding in the sixth race resulting in an injury to Tommy Malley. Jockey S. Coucci was fined 5 by the starter for disobedience at the post in the fourth race Tuesday. Charles Bacharach, owner of the South- land Stable, arrived from New Orleans for ; a visit. F. A. Tyler sold the horses Top High, Idle Midget and Kindred Spirit at private terms to Comer Covington. W. A. Kelly will con-1 tinue training the horses. John F. Clark, owner of the worlds record holder, Clang, arrived from his New Orleans home and will witness the horse run in the Toboggan Handicap. Clang, in charge of trainer Sallee, arrived at Belmont Park on Tuesday afternoon from Narragansett. Trainer Bob Smith shipped the Brookmeade Stables Good Goods to Pimlico to start in the Dixie Handicap. Corundum will be pointed for the Preakness. Max Hirsch will not ship Bold Venture, the M. Li. Schwartz Derby winner, to Pimlico until next week. He is undecided as to who will ride the colt.
