Sky Haven, Mansco. The Legioneer and Daria, while the majority of the others ate two-year-olds which were bred in Missouri, either at the H. M. Woolf farm or the Jones farm at Parnell. The Hilltop Stable of R. B. George, owner of the Fair Grounds race track at Dallas, arrived here this week in charge of trainer Tommy J. Carroll. In the George shipment was Torcheen, Lassies Son. My Tommy, Disapproval, Kerry Ways, Blazing Torch and Life Like. The last five named are two-year-olds and were bred by Mr. George on his Texas farm near Dallas. Wm. Emmerson, with a small but high-class stable arrived from Arlington Downs and Emmerson is eyeing the Inaugural Handicap, feature of the opening day in which he expects to saddle the winner when he sends the good sprinter Bold Lover to the post. Our Count, which was recently returned to training, is galloping along soundly and Emmerson hopes to have him ready for the distance events. Rare Ben and the two-year-old winner, Cuban Boy, are the others that Mill carry the cokna of H. C. Rumage, which are trained by Emmerson. Daisy Bane and Cabotin are the two horse* that D. Livingston brought from Texas.
