PLANETARIUM improved his position steadily under urcinsr. came to the inside in the stretch run, finished with a rush, wore down the leaders and was drawing away at the end. JESTING LADY was ruslwd into command after the break, di--plaed cood speed, but bore out slichtlv in the stretch and held on well. HIS NIBS, well up throughout, saved much cround entering the stretch, finished gamely on the inside and was coing fastest at the finish. OUT OF STEP raced forwardly all the way and had no mishaps in the running. QUICK VINE moved up fast on the outside, but raced ereenly after losing ground at the stretch turn. THOMAS C. beean slowly and made up some ground. CANDLELIGHT was shufilcd back in the early running. GRAND JESTER met with repeated interference in the early running. RED BADGE was rated alone steadily, raced FREE AGAIN into defeat entering the streeh, drew away into a long lead and had speed in reserve. FREE AGAIN showed early speed, saved ground and came again under pressure at the end. DISTRACT begaa slowly, improved his position steadily and finished with a ruh through the stretch. FLYING HOOFS was kept well up toward the leaders in the early running, but faltered when placed under urging in the stretch run. FALERMIAN broke rapidly, was quickly outrun, and showed an even effort thereafter. BLACK BRIGADE raced well. JOAN D. made up some ground. Won ridden out : second and third driving. EMILEO rushed into command after the break, displayed high speed and drew away, but was tiring at the finish. SILYER FLEECE was kept forwardly from the start, saved ground entering the stretch and outlasted FAIR DEAL in the final strides. The latter, on fhe outside all the way, made a determined bid when called upon, but hung in the final drive. SPEED was outrun throughout, came to the outside in the stretch, but could not menace the leaders. SOMEBODY was outrun to the stretch turn and closed ground ever tired horses. MYSTIC FLYER was caucht in a jam at the first turn, forced to take up and dropped out of contention, improved its position and finished last at the end. A FA reared at ihe break, was away slowly and could not menace the leaders in the stretch. FLYING CARFET was interfered with the first turn and eliminated from contention. ACE OF SPADES was outrun.
