CLAIMS SHARE IN HORSES BALTIMORE, Md., May 8— Mrs. Elsie Gohlinghorst of this city has filed suit to j determine the ownership of eight race horses now in Maryland. The action is directed ! • against Joseph C. Marino; his wife, Anne E. Marino; his daughter-in-law, Mrs. Robert Marino, Robert M. Rook, Jr., the Mary-| land Racing Commission and Maryland jockey Club. The horses involved are i 1 Rock Miss, Okay Winchell, Miss Ormondale, ! Calome, Pike, Apathy, Militiaman and Dark j Law. Six are quartered at Pimlico and two at Hagerstown. The Pimlico stewards recently j barred Okay Winchell, Apathy and Militiaman pending determination of ownership. Mrs. Gohlinghorst claims she gave ! Marino ,000 in November, 1934 to invest in a financial concern and a year later the suit declared she learned he had bought the race horses instead of making the investment.
