Shaffers Coldstream in 1935. Prior to 1925 it was at four and a half furlongs, and since being lengthened Coldstreams mark of :595 is the record for the race. Six fillies— Gin Daisy, Foolish Moment, Evening Tide, Shootin High, Busy Lutrecia, and Little Empress — are in the large field. Due to their stakes victories, Dogaway, one of the four named to represent Mrs. Ethel V. Mars Milky Way Farm and Joe P. Halls Little Empress will carry the top imposts. DOGAWAY TOP WEIGHT. W. Parrish, who entered Dehor and Proph, and Dixiana. whose colors will be carried by Sweepalot, Shootin* High and Foolish Moment. Alexander Gordon has saddled two winners of the race, St. Bernard and Coldstream, and Clyde Van Dusen tightened the girth of Torchilla and In High. Others in the field are Billionaire, a brother to Brokers Tip, 1933 Kentucky Derby winner, which won his last start here; Busy Lutrecia, also successful at the local course, and Kermay, winner on Derby Day. Shootin High and Foolish Moment have won two races here, while Sweepalot turned back Fast Express and Ginocchio the first of the week. EXPECT SEVERAL WITHDRAWALS. In the event there are nineteen starters, Foolish Moment will commence from outside of the stall gate. However, several withdrawals are expected between now and post time.
