! • i ! j FESTIVAL DAY CONDITIONS LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 8.— Conditions for the eight races to be held Kentucky Derby Festival Day, Monday, May 18, were distributed among the horsemen today. The Kentucky Derby Festival Day Handicap will feature the program. It is a sprint at seven furlongs and will carry an 00 purse. Two races for two-year-olds both at five fur-1 longs, a gentlemans cup race, a six furlongs sprint, one at six and one-half furlongs and two races at one mile and a sixteenth will support the feature. The minimum purse value will be 00 and as Latonia does not open its spring meeting until the following Saturday a majority of the stables here are expected to remain for the extra day of racing.
