GYPSY FLAME, away fast but outrun early, responded fast after three quarters, was sent around the field for the drive, forged to the front iiearing the final eighth and won easily LAWYER BRIGADE, well up from the start, was lorced to lose ground when making a bold bid approaching the stretch, failed to withstand the winner, but held on well. BlRNT TRAIL improved her position steadily and closed with a rush. MANHATTAN raced evenly. LUNSFORD took command under hustling tactics, drew clear after five-sixteenths, was put to stronger pressure wl en challenged, but tired rapidly in the drive. SPICSON made up ground. BEBEST, cause of the long delay at the post, was hustled into a good lead during the openinc live-sixteenths, but quit badly.
