| AURORA TURF NOTES | $ * Robert S. Shelley conferred with officials of Sportsmans Park while here regarding the fall meeting at the Cicero course. Shelley will motor to Winnipeg, Canada, where he serves as racing secretary at several tracks in the Dominion. Starter Johnny Morrissey is conducting schooling for fractious thoroughbreds over a period of two hours every morning from 7 until 9. Quite a few horses are handled every morning. R. T. "Dick" Watts reported that Lady Greenock suffered a bad cut as the result of kicking a bucket in the barn and will be on the shelf for some time.
