1 CHURCHILL DOWNS NOTES ] e $ Robcoe Goose sold the two-year-old Paymaster to J. A. Brause. The terms of the sale were private. Mrs. Silas B. Masons Manna Miss was | vanned to Duntheath Farm, where she will be retired for the year. Mose Cossman, agent for Col. E. R. Bradley, left Sunday for New York. At the end of the first twelve days of the Churchill Downs meeting, apprentice Bahill James was leading the riders with ten victories to his credit. Charles Kurtsinger and Charles Stevenson were tied for second honors with eight triumphs each, and Charley Corbett had ridden seven winners. C. B. Shaffer, owner of Coldstream Stud and Stable, came down from Chicago for the halt holiday program. Col. Phil T. Chinn was among the large crowd of Blue Grass breeders to motor here from Lexington.
