MISS LIZZIE, rushed into the lead, was kept under hustling tactics throughout, responded to stronger pressure in the last stages and oulfinished FOR ROMANCE. The latter moved up fast after a half mile, was forced to come to the outside in the stretch and just failed to get up. NESSLS worked his way forward on the outside, was sent to the inside for the drive and finished well. TEDDY BOY. outrun for three-quarters, was inclined to bear over in the stretch, but came with a rash when straightened. LORD DALTON worked his way foruard steadily, was slightly impeded by TEDDY BOY in the stretch and tired thereafter. WEGOWAY, inclined to bear out throughout, tired rapidly in the drive. LANQUO quit.
