OBERT FRACTURES RIB BALTIMORE. Md., May 9.— Willie Obert, oldest active jockey in America, suffered a ] fractured rib while engaging in playful j antics in the Pimlico jockeys quarters. W. j Ireland, who rode Frankie C. for Mrs. J. V. i Steward in the Blue Ridge Steeplechase at j Pimlico, Saturday, suffered a broken collar j bone, according to word received from the j South Baltimore General Hospital, where the rider is confined.
