BIT 6 WORRY TAKES OPENER Jewelry Company Purse Main Event on Eight -Race Card at River-side Park Course. KANSAS CITY, Mo., June 20. Bit o Worry, making her first start of the year, was an easy winner of the initial race on the program, when, coming from behind in the stretch, she wore down Bearcry, to cross the finish line three lengths in the clear of A. K. Millers Boston Common, with the pacemaking Bearcry holding on long enough to save the show from Topway. Southland Toy, the one that was installed favorite, was at no time a contender and finished far back in it. Saturdays offering at Riverside Park consisted of a well balanced card of eight races, seven of which were over a distance of ground, and only one, the fifth, named the Manhattan Handicap, being less than a mile. The seventh race, the Goldman Jewelry Company Handicap, was given the post of honor on the card, and this affair brought together six of the best long distance performers on the track, and the Coward and Coffey entry of Reelon and Heart Break was installed the early choice.
