ANOTHER GARNER IN SADDLE Mack Garner, Jr., Gallops First Thoroughbred in Morning Workouts Now 14 Years Old. LATONIA, Ky., June 20. Another member of the Garner family, which has been 1 identified with the guiding of thoroughbreds for manyyears, began his preparation to keep the famous name in the records this morning at the Latonia course. Mack "Sunny Jim" Garner, Jr., galloped his first thoroughbred this morning, which indicates the beginning of a saddle career for the 14-year-old boy, who is now on vacation. "Sunny Jim" attends school in Covington, Ky., but for the next few months w.ill devote his mornings to learning the fundamentals of the riding profession. Of course, it was not the first horse that "Sunny Jim" has been astride, but it was his first opportunity at handling a thoroughbreds Prior to this, the youngsters activities haye been confined to riding ponies
