I SPORTSMANS PARK NOTES I and Christopher J. FitzGerald, Sr., steward representing the Illinois Racing Commission at Sportsmans Park, left Wednesday night for London, Ont, to attend the funeral of a brother-in-law. He expected to return to his post here Friday. During FitzGeralds absence George H. Foster, secretary of the commission, will fill the vacancy In the stewards stand. Funderburg, Clara V., Roselake and Captain Danger are the horses which H. H. Chopin is training at Sportsmans Park. Captain Danger is the property of G. L. Tilden. Jockey Milton Terry, who was thrown when Femme fell with him during the running of the sixth race here Tuesday, was none the worse for his experience and was back in the saddle Wednesday. E. D. Slavin has only two horses here at this time. They are Pomphone and Top Way. Friends were congratulating G. W. Schilling, Sportsmans Park steward. Wednesday on his radio address over station WGN In Chicago Tuesday night. Jockey B. Cortelletty packed his tack and headed for California. Two five-year-old geldings, Everybody and King Today, are the two which J. W. Chois-ser has registered at Sportsmans Park. An arrival Wednesday morning from Kansas City was C. McKee who brought with him Dorothy Alice and Malay.
