ISSUE CHURCHILL BOOKS LOUISVILLE, Ky., March 31 The first program book for the Churchill Downs spring meeting, opening Saturday, April 30, and closing on Decoration Day, will be ready for distribution Saturday, it was announced today by William H. Shelley, racing secretary. Conditions for overnight races to be run during the twenty-two days will be released in three installments, Shelley stated. Besides the conditions for the eight programs, the book to be available Saturday will include nominations for the Kentucky Derby, already made public, as well as entries for other stakes not as yet generally released. In the latter group are the Clark Handicap, Bash-ford Manor Stakes, Kentucky Oaks and others, including the several new or revived features.
