TOAKLAWN PARK TURF NOTES i Under the management of Peter J. Holmes, who replaced the late Joseph Martin at Oak-lawn Park, the organization experienced its most successful season since the revival of the sport in the state. The Oaklawn Park officials terminated the suspension of jockey Joe Jacobs for an unsatisfactory ride on Night Chase midway in the meeting. The case was referred to the Arkansas State Racing Commission, but no further action was taken by that body.
