WILLIAM SUTHEELAND DIES LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 6. News of the death of William Sutherland, who had been connected with the turf for a great many years, has just reached Louisville. According to the sad message, Sutherland passed away at his home in Evansville, Ind., last Thursday of heart trouble and his remains were laid to rest there last Saturday. Early in his career, Sutherland worked in various capacities and is said to have ridden in races. For some years, however, he had been acting as agent for stables and jockeys. He is survived by his widow.
