NEDROB had no excuse. RETURN CHECK was unable to keep up and was in close quarters on the far turn. SIR WINDSOR moved up steadily on the outside to catch RARE BEN after going half the distance and, although faltering a trifle near the finish, barely missed. MANNIE was overmatched. MUM ELECTRESS displayed good early speed, but then quit. OLD NICK finished resolutely from a slow beginning. LEE HASTINGS quit. LITTLE KIEV disliked the going. KELCONARD quit.
