1 LOUISVILLE TURF NOTES Bob McMillan, of Wishing Ring fame and connected with the Hartford Live Stock Insurance Company, came in from the South and will be in Kentucky until the close of the Downs meeting. Reuben White came from Lexington to take charge of the schooling at Churchill Downs. A leg infection, which has been giving him considerable trouble for some time, prevented his working on the ground as an assistant to starter William Hamilton at Keeneland. Willie Carroll, who has been here for several days, expects to resume riding early in the season. Richard B. George, owner of Glad Acres Farm, is coming from his home in Texas for the Kentucky Derby and much of the Louisville meeting.
