EPICAL moved up fast after the start and was rated along to the pace, responded when urged entering the stretch and assumed a brief lead in the final eighth, but stumbled a few feet from the finish and just lasted. MOSS GAL showed speed from the start, raced HERMANITA into defeat and held on well in the final drive. ONRUSH worked his way up steadily from a slow beginning and closed fast oh the outside. ELDEE, well up from the start, saved ground entering the stretch and finished well. HERMANITA forced the early pace while saving ground and tired. ROSARIAN closed fast from a slow beginning. FIRST BID moved up with a rush from a slow beginning and faltered. DUDES PRIDE had a flash of early speed. FLYING VICTORY raced evenly. NIGHT SERGE showed an even effort. SAN PIETRO raced poorly. DOUBLE BACK was sent into command with a rush, drew away into a safe load, was rated along steadily thereafter and held her company safe to the end. SLAVE CHARM was in early trouble, but finished with determination when clear. DOUBLE TALK, on the outside of the leaders all the way, closed with determination. WISE LADY dwelt at the break, but finished fast when settled into her stride. AMERICAN DAISY saved ground all the way, but tirod at the finish. SHORT RATIONS was shuffled back after the start. DOROTHY POMP could not keep up. POST OFFICE was in close quarters in the first sixteenth. GOLDEN BOUGH could not improve its position. DONITA M. was shuffled back rounding the far turn. REMOLINO was taken under restraint when outrun, responded in the stretch and finished well. PLEA showed an even effort throughout. THE STORY raced well all the way. YARN SOX made up some ground from a slow beginning. THE BOXER dropped back after the break. PYTCHLEY showed an even effort. SWIFTGOLD lacked early speed. QUICK DEVIL was bottled up and in close quarters in the early running, moved up with a rush on the inside when clear, responded to urging and outlasted WOOD SONG in the final drive. The latter moved into command after the start and showed speed throughout, then responded to pressure in the stretch and held on with good courage. GRANDEVER was outrun early and, under pressure, worked his way up on the inside, saved ground entering the stretch, but could not menace the leaders. SUNSUN was kept forwardly, in the early running and had no mishaps. PLAY GOLD raced wide entering the stretch and tired. Overweight Wood Song, 1 pound; Sunsun. 2. . . , SIXTH RACE 1 1-16 MELES.
