HAVRE DE GRACE NOTES T g 4 Hal Price Headley is dickering to get the services of jockey Raymond Workman for Bourbon King in the Chesapeake Stakes, which will be renewed here Saturday, April 23. Bourbon King is in training at Keeneland Park. Jockey E. De Camillas, who rode with good success during the spring meeting at Bowie, stated that he is ready to resume riding after recovering from a cold. Jockey J. Stout arrived from New York to ride Isolater for the Belair Stud in the Harford Handicap. The rider returned to Jamaica after filling his mission. The schooling list at Havre de Grace was opened Friday, with Inactive being the first pupil. Word reached here that judge John F. Courtney, well known in racing circles in Illinois and a close friend of P. A. and J. R. Nash, owners of the Shandon Farm stable, passed away at the home of his sister in Milwaukee. Frank Garrett, who trains a public stable which includes among others Howard Bruce and C. F. Hockley, is anxious to have Tommy Proctor communicate with him at once. Jockey D. Morgan has signed to ride for J. E. Hughes and begins his duties with his new employer immediately. Mike Walsh will handle the lads engagement book. William Markey, son of Peter A. Markey, witnessed the performance of Billmar, Derby candidate of the Bomar Stable, which performed here successfully on Friday, and was greatly impressed with the colts showing. Billmar was named after William Markey and high hopes are held that the brown son of Bull Dog will become one of the top-notch three-year-olds of the year. Trainer B. J. Ackerman arrived at Pim-lico with the two horses Hopsie C. and General Lejeune, which race for P. Hanson,
