Born has, in addition to Silver Sarah, Redress, Byrdine, Peter F., Florence B. F., Gaylord, The Tribesman, Wee Santa, Glad Wings and Carbon Copy, quartered at the west suburban oval. Eddie Griffin, a popular figure with horsemen and riders, will have charge of the jockey dressing quarters this year. The seven-year-old veteran Ding Bin heads the Day Dream Farm, Madisonville, Kentucky, string of nine. Trainer William Day has seven two-year-olds and Rewot, a three-year-old, under his care for the Blue Grass establishment. Four thoroughbreds will appear In the silks of Mrs. D. L. Horton, whose husband Al, trains the horses. Joe Eaton and Minstrel Star, three-year-olds, and Legsure and -Company, four-year-olds, comprise the stable. An oddly named pair of juveniles, Tup and Tibi, are stabled in the barn of J. j. Maloney. Older horses of the stable, under trainer C. E. Stewarts care, are Zuba, Sailorman and Bay Boy.
