; 1 BAY MEADOWS NOTES $ Unless there is a change in the present plans of trainer Tom Smith, the horses which C. S. Jockey J. Pollard will also pull up stakes for the East. Trainer E. Wyatt, in charge of the Mrs. J. F. Waters horses, reports the improving condition of Make and Break and Bonouri. While they are convalescing as well as expected, neither of the pair will be ready for competition for several weeks. C. Merj rick. Golden Era, formerly owned by the Millsdale Stable, was claimed by Fuller for ,000 at Santa Anita last winter. The horse has been blistered, freshened up and should proves a worthwhile addition to the handicap ranks. Others in the Fuller string include Au Man, Rickey Roo, Bold Courtier and the two-year-old, Rough Way. Steve Brodie checked in from Agua Caliente with the plater Flora Upset and the juvenile Mount Money. J. W. Ray was another arrival from the Mexican course, bringing in Busy Mae, Suspension, Notar, Promising Bill, Temper and the two-year-old Cisco Girl.
