1 APPEALING S INJURY UNCERTAIN HAVRE DE GRACE, Md, April 23. Two veterinarians, one called by the stable and the other representing an insurance company, have differed to the extent of the injuries suffered by the good sprinter, Appealing, of the Motor City Stable, here several days ago in the Harford Handicap. Trainer H. C. Wolfe has little hope of getting the five-year-old son of Wise Counsellor post-ward again, as he was reported to have suffered a fractured ankle and to have torn away part of the pastern on his left front leg. Owner Louis J. Lepper, Detroit insurance broker, has ordered everything possible to be done to save the horse, which is considered a good prospect for the stud. o d t- i- I- tl :r e t- n it r- e l-
