TROPICAL PARK TURF NOTES S Jockey George Rose, who rode with considerable success throughout the summer season last year, accepted his first mount of the meeting at Tropical Park on Thursday. Al Nun, registrar of the Miami Jockey Club, reported that the horse colony at Hialeah Park is rapidly being reduced by shipments, there being less than 400 horses on the Hialeah grounds at present. Jockey E. Robart returned to the saddle Thursday after taking a short vacation.
