COLOR BEARER, practically .eft, came up with a rush on the outside and finished strongest. SWINLANE made a run for it to the stretch, then tired badly. PICKARD, off to a slow start, came up with a rush when on the rail and finished strongly in a drive. BLIND PLAYDEMA, carried wide on the far turn, closed with a rush, but could not overtake the winner. TRI CAP, away slowly, improved position and finished well. SPEY FOX set the pace to the far turn, but tired badly. LADY PAL, away last, came up with a belated rush, but was shuffled back nearing the Finish. REBEKAH pulled up lame after the race. CUMBERLAND had no excuses. EDWARD D. was away fast, but tired badly after an initial rush. The latter, away with the field, increased advantage for a half mile but tired at the end. ZULU LAD made up some ground. GOOD EXCHANGE tired. HIROW had no mishaps. The -latter, away in front, dropped back when taken in hand, then came with a rush on the outside and finished fast, but could not stave off the winner. WILD OAK raced evenly throughout, but was knocked back in the stretch and finished strongly. BOURBON PRINCE raced evenly throughout. The others were outrun.
