SURVEYOR, hustled to the front, held sway under light restraint, responded well when tiring and outfinished JOYCE K. The latter worked her way forward steadily, swerved when improving her position in the stretch and was gaining on the winner at the end. JIM JOHN, steadied along early, moved up after five-eighths, was slightly bothered by JOYCE K. and tired thereafter. KUVERA, in close quarters early, moved up when clear and finished strongly. PARAVANT worked his way forward steadily and finished strongly. SYMPATHIZER quit. LEONA REIGH finished on the inside. BLIND SAGE raced wide early and quit badly after reaching contention. Won driving; second and third the same.- VIERNES SANTO, well up from the start, forged to the front approaching the final quarter, swung wide entering the stretch, came again when straightened, bore over on VANSCOUT when drawing clear and finished under pressure. VANSCOUT, steadied along early, improved his position under strong handling, gave way to the winner, came again in the stretch and tired after meeting slight interference. SUSAN W. worked her way forward through the field and finished strongly. DELAYNOT showed a good effort. WALTZ dropped back on the far turn and came again in the stretch. LUCKY CLOUD came from well back and quit. PORT GIRL, PRETTY HASTY and JANE SWEEP ALL quit. Scratched 72297 First Mac, 105. Overweight Our Queen, 2 pounds.
