LANDIS STOPS WINSETT SALE BATON ROUGE, La., April 4. Outfielder Jack Winsett was ordered returned to the New York Giants yesterday by Commissioner Landis. The Giants had sold Winsett to the Jersey City club recently, which is the International League farm for the New York club, but Landis refused to sanction the transaction.
