j TROPICAL PARK TURF NOTES George R. Wingf ield, starter of the Gables Racing Association, has accepted a similar position with the Hollywood Jockey Club for the summer meeting to be staged at the Inglewood plant June 1 to July 29. Wing-field will do the starting at Narragansett Park before leaving for the California track. J. M. Goode, trainer for-the J. W. Parrish stable, has made arrangements to ship the horses in his care to Lexington, Ky., on Thursday. Jockey Wayne D. Wright, who will ride Our Ketcham for J. B. Partridge in the 0,-000 added Tropical Handicap April 8, will leave the same evening for Baltimore, Md., and after a few days in the Monumental City will leave for Jamaica to be on hand for the New York racing season. Worth Johnson, his agent, will make the same trip and will also take over the engagement book of jockey Warren Yarberry. Frank Rector and Donald McEachren shipped the horses in their care to Louisville, Ky., Saturday night Sidney Brown, an attache of the racing secretarys office of the Miami Jockey Club, who has been vacationing here since the close of the meeting at Hialeah Park, departed for Keeneland Park.. Charles J. McLennan, racing secretary for the Harford Agricultural and Breeders Asso- ciation, leaves for Baltimore, Md., Wednesday, and will open his office at Havre de Grace shortly after his arrival.
