I PERSHALL STABLE ADDITIONS LEXINGTON, Ky., April 4. Former jockey Tommy Root, who trains for S. J. Pershall, Granite City, 111., sportsman, arrived from Miami with Winged Victory, Hose, Sink or Swim and Brown Ben. Booming Guns, Burr Hickman and Dorothy Agnes, which were turned out at the J. H. Patterson Farm here, have also been added to the stable, as well as three two-year-olds which have never been to the races. Among the juveniles is a bay filly by Lee O. Cotner Poverina, a half sister to Judge Leer, which Root trained for his employer and which has been named Judges Sister. Albert J., a bay colt by Eternal Loved One, and Jennie May, a chestnut daughter of Infinite Punctuation, are also in the Root stable.
