REGAL BOY displayed speed in the going and. under pressure, stood off determined opposition from FLYING SON and drew away in the final sixteenth. FLYING SON was sent up with a rush rounding the far turn, made a determined bid in the stretch and faltered. IS I IS was slow to begin and outrun early, then came with a rush at the end. WHAT NOT was a prominent factor from the start and held on well to the end. JOTUN dropped back after the break and was never a factor. BLACK THRLSH was unable to keep up. MIRANDA Z. displayed speed from the start and responded to urging in the stretch and shook off SINGLE, then began to bear out in the final sixteenth. ROSY DOLLAR improved her position steadily and came to the outside entering the stretch to finish with a rush. BONNIE GOLOS was slow to begin, worked her way up and closed with a rush. SINGLE, in near pursuit of the pace from the start, had no mishaps. SWEET NUSHIE had no mishaps. RECOGNIZE could not keep up. BATTER UP ran in spots. QUEENS NAVY lacked early speed. ALPHA-BOW was outrun. HATTIE BELLE was never a factor. FLYING INDIAN could not keep up. LOU ONEILL was outrun. The others had no mishaps. HALCYON BOY raced forwardly from the start, but on the outside, responded to urging in the stretch and finished fast to win drawing away. ABOYNE was quick to beein and showed speed all the way, then held on with good courage to the end. LITTLE DAVEY, in nearest pursuit of the pace from the start, was bothered entering the stretch and came again at the Finish. SHADOWS PASS closed with a rush on the outside. WILTON, well up and under steady restraint, flattened out when urged entering the stretch. IRISH ECHO had no mishap6. SMOKY SNYDER was never a dangerous factor. BLAZING HEAT was outrun. FAUST II. was never a factor. JAMESBOROUGH was sprinted into command after the break and showed speed in the going, but was bearing out sharply in the final eighth. DEVILS THUMB was slow to begin, improved his position and finished with a belated rush. RIVER WOLF was bothered repeatedly in the running and closed fast when clear. ROBERT F. closed with a rush on the outside at the end. EPEE went wide entering the stretch, then tired. VACUUM CLEANER was slow to begin. BULLY GOOD had no mishaps. NOVIEW quit in the final eighth. The latter forced a fast pace from the start, shook off PICTURE HAT in the stretch and finished well. DRAEH was a prominent factor from the start and had no mishaps. BYGONE STAR bore out rounding the first turn and again entering the stretch, where he carried DINSEN wide and held on well. The hitter was ent into command at the st? t. ten drew away into a safe lead, hut was tiring when carried wide. MAECHIC had no mishaps. RECONDITE saved ground throughout. NEW LIFE was well up from the start, then quit. GRANDUN was never a dangerous factor. SPALPEEN and AUNT MILLIE had no mishaps. Scratched— 229603Maepal. 106. Overweight — Happy Family. 2 pounds.
