RED RAIN, well ridden and reserved for more than a mile, made a k.d landing at the eleventh jump, moved into command after leaving the thirteenth brush, then finished under pressure and pulled up dinky. WAR PORT stablished a good lead swiftly, held sway under light handling, but was unable to withstand the winner, then holding on well. SPEED DEMON moved into contention after three quarters and tired. ROUGEMONT ran in spots. MEETING HOUSE improved his position after a mile and dropped back after bobbling at the thirteenth jump. DAHLIA was outrun. AUTUMNQUEST raced well back, made a bad landing at the tenth jump and pulled lip lame. GOLDEN HOUR lost his rider when landing at the fifth brush and broke down. SOBRIQUET established a com* manding lead swiftly, was kept under pressure throughout and held IMPERIAL IMPY safe. The latter, A factor from the start, drifted out entering the stretch, tired in the last stages and pulled up dinky. FOGOSO, outrun early, was sent to the inside for the drive and closed with a rush. NEUTRALITY, well placed from the start, held on well. BLUE FLIGHT made up ground and was listlessly handled in the last stages. ALPINE LAD broke into the air at the start and was outrun. BLENWEED broke in the air at the start, bore out entering the turn and showed nothing. WEATHERITE, prominent for a half mile, was pulled up before the finish. CRIMSON LANCER, in close quarters early, was forced to the outside for room and finished well. BARDY had good speed and tired. FOLD UNDER was done after live eighths. ESCOLAR. unprepared at the start, began to pick up h* field after five-sixteenths and was blocked repeatedlv in the drive.
