Teentee Prevails in Pimlico Nursery Thirty-Nine Thoroughbreds Go Under Hammer at Pimlico Sale Mrs. Raymond Feinberg Buys* Pharien for ,700, Top Bid Of Public Morning Auction BALTIMORE, Md., May 8.— Thirty-nine* thoroughbreds, comprising breeding-stock and horses in training, brought a total of 5,390, for an average of 94.61, at a public auction conducted by the Maryland Horse Breeders Association this morning on the grounds of Pimlico race track. Top price of the sale was ,700, paid by Mrs. Raymond Feinberg of Chester, Pa., far the three-year-old filly, Pharien, con- j signed by Preston M. Burch. The two-year-old Lanceleaf , from Mrs. Marion duPont | Scotts Montpelier, brought the second high price of ,700. The juvenile bay filly by Lancegaye from the Silvern mare, Sil-way, also went to Mrs. Raymond Feinberg.
