MANYATIME displayed the most speed throughout, raced MIOLA into defeat, but was hard pressed nearing the end to retain his slight advantage. MIDAIR steadily improved position, closed strongly next to the inner rail through the stretch and was wearing down the winner. GUNWALE worked way up on the outside and finished strongly. CAPT. YARBROUGH saved ground throughout and held on fairly well to the end. FREEPLAY showed a fair effort. VIGNETTE was going well when too late. MIOLA tired. TYRO LAD displayed the most early speed, but failed to withstand the winners challenge. ROSE WRACK raced forwardly throughout and was much the best of the others. FLYING STRIPES showed early speed, but tired rapidly in the run heme. MISS LANCASTER faced evenly. OZZIE was going well when too late. The others tired. PRUDENT MISS shook off TINKER TOES after rounding the far turn and held the race safe all through the stretch. TINKER TOES had no mishaps and was hard pressed at the end to stall off WHA HAE. The latter came with a rush on the outside through the stretch and lipid on fairly vell. 1NAL made a threatening bid entering the stretch, but tired nearing the end. PRAIRIE BOY closed some ground. CHANCE TEA moved up stoutly rounding the turn for home, overhauled opposition when midway of the stretch and drew clear nearing the I end NUINSKY displayed good speed from the start and held the others safe at the end. GRAND LADY broke well, dropped out of contention early, but came again entering the stretch and finished stoutly. EASY JACK was never far from the leaders, but failed to improve his position. FOUNTAIN f.ROVE closed considerable ground. GENERAL LEONEE tired. The latter closed courageously in close quarters next to the inner rail through the stretch and finished strongest. BAR WAY displayed the most speed until midway of the stretch and held on gamely in the final drive. BROWN RAY raced evenly and held the others safe. ARKADEL tired after reaching the stretch.
