BURGOOLETTE, well handled, gave way to RED CRESCENT approaching the stretch, came again when called upon and, after taking command, drew out to win with something left. ARIEL LADY, slow to begin and on the outside, improved her position steadily for three-eighths and came determinedly in the drive, but could not reach the winner. RED CRESCENT, a keen factor from the start, raced to the front near the final turn, but failed to retain her advantage under strong handling. BOLO SIS was unable to better her position and had no excuses. CHOP SUEY worked her way up steadily after beginning slowly, but failed to respond when hard urged in the final eighth. SUNNY PORTRESS raced greenly. NANNY tired. SUNARIAN faltered after displaying good early speed. HECKELSIE was done after three-eighths. BEAD raced in close pursuit of PEN-WIPE to the stretch, took command when ready and easily held her advantage to the close. PAJAS saved ground when outrun the first half mile and came between horses during the drive, then finished resolutely, but could not reach the winner. COUNTMEIN, slow to begin and far back to the stretch, came out slightly for the drive and closed with a rush. FLY ME could not better his position under good handling and had no mishaps. FAST START tired after racing forwardly placed for five-eighths. HASTY KISS had brief early speed, then retired. PENWIPE raced to the front soon after the start, set the pace to the final turn, then faltered. ICY RUN took command early and, disposing of FAG after going three-eighths, had enough left to withstand BLUE BALA. The latter, never far back and on the inside, came resolutely when hard urged in the drive but could not get to the winner. TREECLA, outrun until reaching the stretch, came to the inside thereafter and closed determinedly under punishment. FAG, much used forcing the pace through the first half mile, failed to stay in the closing stages. CAMPS FIRST raced evenly to the final eighth, then tired. STATELY SOUL was unable to threaten under good handling. AVA DEMAND could not keep up. VALDINA CIRCE displayed good speed to the stretch, then gave way. BULLDINGER raced in closest pursuit of LITTLE KISS to the final eighth, then came determinedly in the closing stages and was up to dispose of the latter in the last stride. LITTLE KISS took command soon after the start and set the pace to the stretch under pressure from the winner, then held on well in the drive and just failed to last. LITCHFIELD saved ground when outrun to the stretch and, taken to the outside for the drive, closed determinedly despite swerving to the inside near the finish. SHUT EYE. outrun through the first half mile, came between horses entering the stretch, but was caught in close quarters in the last sixteenth and could not threaten. MYSTERY MARVEL, on the outside throughout, tired after showing speed to the final turn. NIMBLE faltered after racing forwardly placed through the first half mile. WEIGH ANCHOR showed little.
