The latter raced forwardly on the outside of the winner from the start and held on well. MICHIGAN GOLD worked way up on the outside and raced into third place with ease through the stretch. MARYMICK moved up stoutlv nearing the stretch turn, but tired in the run home. INDIAN NICKEL closed some ground. WINKETbroke slowly. TRYLING dwelt when the break came. LEOTA W. tired. OCEAN TIDE quickly raced into the lead and was never really threatened. BLON GLA, slow to begin, steadily improved position and came strongly on the outside through the stretch. SAPHI raced forwardly, but finished tiring and barely saved third. MEANWHILE, never far from the leaders, finished gamely. LINCOLN J. raced on the outside of the opposition most of the trip. IBETCHA raced well up. but on the outside of the opposition to the stretch, swerved over to the inside in the last eighth and, finishing stronely next to the inner rail, got up in the closing strides. BERTAWEST displayed the most speed from the start, but hung just at the end. EASY HAL, never far from the leaders, finished couraeeously. GRIFFIN HILLS raced forwardly, was slightly interfered with by the winner midway of the stretch, but held on fairly well. GOLDIE"S PET finished strongly. FANDANGLE began slowly, moved up strongly on the outside rounding the far turn and held on well. TANGOWER I.F.E tired.
