FLYING KILTS opened up a wide lead after the start, was kept under light urging while saving ground, then was lightly shaken up after reaching the stretch. BRIGHT N HAPPY, racing in the first Right, came gamely in the drive, but could not menace the winner. PENNY PACKAGE, closest to the winner early, saved ground, but tired. ROYAL FLEET bore out on the turn. DOCTOR POSEY was unable to better his position. ATHALIAH came wide in the late stages. GYPSY LOU raced very greenly. TELLEVANE, never far from the pace, moved up stoutly to displace HIGH ROSE on the last turn, then, taking command nearing the stretch turn, bothered GOLD SWEEP and barely lasted. She was disqualified for a stretch foul. GOLD SWEEP, allowed to rate off the pace, rallied stoutly to enter contention in the last three eighths, was bothered by TELLEVANE in the drive and just missed. TAR MISS, shuffled back midway of the back stretch, recovered and finished strongly. HIGH ROSE was unable to get clear and tired. MISS MUD was itsed up in the first five eighths. MUD DOBBER raced well early. JUNE PENNANT, abreast of ROLLS ROUGH entering the back stretch, moved into the lead readily, drew clear entering the stretch, then was kept under urging to the end. ROLLS ROUGH lost command after a half mile, respondd to punishment and, saving ground, outstayed BEGRUDGED. The latter was rushed up between horses going to the last turn, was pinched back slightly, then came again and finished strongly. MATHORA was a keen factor throughout. FREETONE began slowly and went wide in the late stages. Scratched— 19759 G. C. KAMARI ga;ned a forward position and came with good speed in the drive. JEWEL SONG could not overhaul the pacemaker, and tired. COURT BLENHEIM was outrun. BLOX had no speed. BAR SHIP, saved back of the leaders, closed stoutly on the inside. JUDGES BID was outrun early but gained slowly in the late drive. LACKAWANNA was away poorly and had no chance.
