Higley Riding in Great Form CICERO, 111., May 12. — Apprentice Jess Higley, leading apprentice rider here at the Sportsmans Park spring meeting, left little doubt about his ability to boot home winners when he piloted four to victory during yesterdays program. The lad, who is under contract to Gene Smith, brought in Mighty Lucky in the fourth event, Wayriel in the fifth, Doctors Rose, the winner of the sixth, and then not to be outdone, rode Connie Ann home in front to account for the eighth and final event of the day. Higley, who hails from Ogden, Utah, is the only rider to pilot four in one afternoon here at Sportsmans Park this meeting. He has ridden a total of 21 winners at the local meeting.
