UHHUH forced the pace from the start and shook off opposition when well settled, then drew away. BOSTONITE raced forwardly from the start and was under pressure in the stretch, but failed to menace the winner. WHIRLIGIG showed a good effort throughout and finished well. DALLAS LADY held on well under pressure at the end. MULTI QUEST came to the outside for the stretch run. RARIFIED was slow to begin. CHALIA, on the inside, faltered in the stretch. CAROLINE F. faltered under urging. LILTETTE was slow to begin. DEVILS WIT had a flash of early speed. COCCINEA had no mishaps. SWINDON dropped back after the break. MERRY MARINE moved up determinedly rounding the stretch turn to assume command in the final eighth, then, under urging, outlasted his opposition. FEROCITY was sent through on the inside entering the stretch and closed with good courage. WILDEBEEST was in slight trouble going to the far turn and moved up when clear, then faltered. AT PLAY began slowly and finished with a rush. TEX HYGRO lacked speed. JIMSON BELLE finished well. LITTLE DAVEY had no mishaps. MARY SCHULZ could not keep up. PORTABLE was under steady restraint early and improved his position on the inside rounding the stretch turn, was blocked at the eighth post and, eased back to come to the outside, finished with a rush and drew away. STEPSOME was sent into command, was rated along under restraint, bore over nearing the final eighth to the inside and held on well. DEVILTRY raced forwardly throughout ?nd had no mishaps. RAISIN BREAD began slowly and finished with a rush through the stretch. BRAVE FRIAR raced well up on the outside early, then quit. KEENE ADVICE ran in spots. HICKORY HEAD was under mild restraint early and moved up entering the final eighth, then, under hand urging, outfinished BEST IRISH at the end. The latter, on the inside and racing straight, responded when roused in the stretch and finished well. SEAWARD BOUND, on the near outside and showing speed from the start, held on well to the end. EYE FOR EYE dropped back after the break, then improved his position on the inside in the late stages. WHOSE was well up on the outside and was not persevered with when he quit. HORN worked her way up steadily, but lost ground entering the stretch, then finished well under urging. SMILES was slow to begin but saved ground throughout and finished well. GENEROUS, on the inside in the early stages, had no mishaps. SCENIC was well up throughout and held on well. LIGHT LADY was unable to improve her position. NAVY CRUISER had no mishaps. VENTUROUS was under steady-restraint on the inside and rounding the stretch turn moved up on the outside, forcing JOY BOY wide, then drew away under pressure. THE FOP was sent into command at the start and showed speed while saving ground, holding on well to the end. JOY BOY, well up and on the outside, faltered slightly after being bumped entering the stretch. CENTURY NOTE was moving up on the inside in the stretch run when he bumped MOON MAIDEN as the latter swerved. MOON MAIDEN was tiring under urging. ABBE PIERRE was never a factor. TRIMLY was outrun. Won driving; second and third the same. IN CHARGE was kept under steady restraint while on the outside, was placed under severe pressure in the stretch and was bearing out at the finish. GENERAL MOWLEE was sent up into close quarters in the stretch, found clear passage and finished with a rush. HALCYON BOY displayed speed throughout and outlasted DISCOURAGED. The latter vas slow to settle into his stride, then finished with a rush. HARD JESTER was sent into command, then faltered in the stretch. CHOPPY SEA propped at the start and was away slowly. BEAUTIFUL II. had no mishaps. DEIMOS could not keep up. RIDING LIGHT was eased when beaten. Overweight — General Mowlee, 1 pound; Discouraged, 3.
