Chairmanship to Straus NEW YORK, N. Y., May 12.— Henry L. Straus of Baltimore has been named chairman of the accessories committee in the ,000,000 drive by the American turf for contributions for the war relief organizations. The announcement was made by the executive committee of the Turf Committee of America, which consists of William Woodward, Maj. Louie A. Beard, Harry Parr III., John C. Clark and Herbert Bayard Swope, chairman. The accessories group includes the "tote" machines, the camera, electric timers, electric gates, manufacturers of general supplies, printers of condition books and daily programs, program advertising agent, suppliers of track machinery, race track contractors and restaurant and other j concessionaires. Straus will select his own committee.
